La commissione internazionale mtbo, nella riunione di Vienna ha abolito la Coppa del Mondo di mtbo.

Questa è la risposta di Juan M. Garcia Tutor alla petizione di ottobre, che vi inoltro, come da sua richiesta, con il verbale della riunione.

Ci sono tra l'altro le norme per il sistema wre e relativo programma, le indicazioni per le cartine dei mondiali mtbo, le lunghezze per i tracciati e il programma dei mondiali in Australia.

Viste le discussioni e le proposte fatte durante il corso tracciatori di Colle Umberto, penso che il tutto possa essere interessante.

    This letter is addressed to both of you as you were identified as "the voice of the atletes" in respect of the so called "World Cup petition" during the last months.

    Sorry for not having responded personally to you in advance, but first of all I needed to finish with the ongoing Commission work on the subject and therefore being able to offer something real  to substitute the World Cup you missed. However, Colin Palmer, as member of the Commission, was taking care of your petition and offering the possibility to discuss about our ongoing work. 

    In respect of the World Cup, you should note that Presidents' Conference, last August, in Rappersville (SUI), took the decission of having a World Championships in MTB-O on an annual basis and therefore cancelling he current World Cup system. We must accept that decission. 

    On the oder hand, let me tell you that the Commission and myself really appreciated your effort of coordination of the athletes' wishes. We carefully red all your petitions and took into account most of your comments. Finally we have tryied to offer you a good international calendar at a very high level of competition.

    I hereby include a file with the minutes of the last MTB-O Commission meting, where we finally arranged the WRE system. Please feel free to spread it as you want.

    You should also note that both of you are invited to our next meeting.
